I am so excited to introduce you to today’s guest! Rich is the founder and president of Flight New Media, and he is an expert in all things entrepreneurship, digital marketing, social media and so much more! Rich has an annual conference called Agents of Change that he has been doing for the last 8 years in Maine, and I wanted to ask a little more about it! Because no matter what type of business you have, whether it be a local small business or an online business, I strongly believe you should be hosting in-person events. So in today’s episode you can expect to hear us talk about speakers, sponsorships and seats.

"Your competition is less likely to do it..." At minute 3:06, Rich tells us his story and his entrepreneurial journey. We're diving into in-person events and why they are so important to both online and local businesses.

"You have to think about who's going to compliment you..." At 8:58, Rich gives us insight into his strategy for choosing his speakers at events including how to choose topics.

"Stop treating it like you're sponsoring an event, start treating it like you're sponsoring a brand..." At minute 17:27, we dive into sponsorship's, how early on Rich got sponsors and his opinion on them.

"We feel like we're putting on a world-class event..." At 22:29, The hardest part for me was getting people in the door and filling up seats for an event and Rich is giving us tips on how to fill those seats and sell out tickets. Rich gives a piece of advice if you're thinking of putting on an in-person event!
