We are doing a special series all about powerhouse entrepreneurs! Now I'm not coaching Martine on-air today but I have been throughout the year in the Powerhouse Mastermind. Martine is going to share what's working, what's hasn't, some of her biggest takeaways and so much more!  These powerhouses are just like you and me and once you hear her story you will hear how much we can relate to them and how much a mastermind can help your business.

"That one statement of truth made a huge impact..." At minute 1:58, Martine gives a little background of her entrepreneurial journey and the huge impact a piece of advice gave her. Plus, hear the reason she joined Powerhouse and what she wanted this year to look like.

"I knew I had to invest to get to that next level..." At 9:56, Martine is sharing her biggest breakthrough and the personal discoveries she's had this year while being in Powerhouse. We're diving into how to work through the mindset of knowing what you're really worth and to not be intimated by what someone else's journey looks like.

"My superpower is encouragement...I believe I can believe in people before they believe in themselves..." At minute 17:42, we are talking about how important it is to take action and why we shouldn't be afraid whatever the result may be. Hear the mistakes of making huge pivots too quickly and the strengths Martine brings to the table in her business.

"Be willing to take the leap..." At 22:46, Martine is sharing what's to come for her in the next 6 months, her advice for finding the right mastermind and what she did to find one. Martine gives one piece of advice and how you can move forward and have the success you're looking for!

Plus, I'm sharing how I had to dial 911 recently to ask for help (you seriously won't believe what happened!)

"All of a sudden there is this screeching noise coming out of her bedroom..." At minute 0:40, I'm sharing a personal story, that also relates to business, with you that you may have seen on my Instagram stories recently.

"I took advice from a 3 year old..." At 5:18, I'm sharing a few problems that you might have in your business now or have done in the past. Plus, we're talking about how often we take advice from people who aren't ahead of us or even in the entrepreneurial world when we shouldn't.

"We feel like we should know better, we feel like we should be able to do better..." At minute 8:46, I'm telling you the reason I thought of this podcast and how we can feel guilty about getting help in our business and even our personal lives.

"How are you doing this all?..." At 15:32, I'm sharing my message with you on why we should be getting help in the areas where we need it and why I need you to know it's not always as easy as I make it look!

So many times I see people look at successful entrepreneurs and just assume they were an overnight success. Not only that, we think that they ended up where they are today because they had 100% clarity on where they wanted to go and had no stumbling blocks along the way. But that's just simply not the case, and today's guest is a perfect example!

I am so excited to introduce you to a good friend and SBHE Live 2019 speaker, Jordan Lee Dooley. Jordan is the host of the SHE podcast (which just hit over one million downloads) and author of Own Your Everyday, but it didn't start here. It actually started about 5 years ago in her sorority room storage closet hand-lettering products for her brand new Etsy shop.

It's funny, because we think that in order to be successful there is a straight and narrow path to lead us there, but it's just the opposite! It's like a roller coaster ride with ups and downs and twists and turns that lead us step by step in our journey.... IF we don't give up! I'm so excited for you to hear Jordan's story and how she has ended up where she is today.

"All because of a little shop that I started in college..." At minute 0:35 Jordan is telling us her back story, how she got where she is today, how she started her own business and how she became an influencer. Hear if gaining a following scared or excited Jordan when it first started happening.

"Things can happen somewhat quickly if we take action ..." At 8:26 Jordan tells us how quickly this all happened for her and if it was a lot of trial and error or not. Hear where Jordan was putting most of her time, the places she was showing up and her content strategy.

"I had no idea what I wanted to write a book on..." At minute 15:00, we dive into how Jordan's book came to life. Jordan talks about how she uses 3 things: motivate, educate and captivate people to reach an audience in an authentic way.

"It serves the bigger mission at hand..." At  25:38, Jordan and I talk about how she decided to start a podcast and what made her decide it was the next place for her to go. Plus, how she launched her podcast with a launch team!

If you want to connect more with Jordan, you can find her on social @jordanleedooley. Be sure to check out her book coming out in May! You can preorder it here, and check out her podcast, SHE podcast!
