Something that has played a huge role in my book launch is the relationships that I have built, so today we are going to talk about building relationships.
Some highlights include:
When my book launched, I created a list of over 100 people that I personally reached out to and asked for their support. I didn’t send them a mass email. I sent them each a real email directly from me. At minute 1:00, I talk about why this is a good strategy.
A way to save time with your email is what Gmail calls “canned responses.” At minute 3:00, I explain exactly what these are and what you should do to utilize them to their fullest potential.
When I hang up from a call with a potential coaching client, I immediately send them a follow-up email. This email contains a canned response with details that I send to every potential client, but I include specific things from our call to make this much more personal. (minute 5:00)
Don’t think that I am anti-email autoresponder. You absolutely have to have one. I send out something to my list every week and whenever I have something that I need my full list to know about. Take my book launch for example. At minute 7:00, I talk about how to use this kind of software effectively.
Facebook has been one of my top sources for networking. At minute 8:00, I share several tips for how to use Facebook to build relationships.
