Need to grow your visibility? Don't have a huge budget? This one's for you. Today I'm interviewing Jill Stanton from Screw the Nine to Five and she is talking how they've grown their empire and the strategies they are using today to get seen without spending a ton of money.

“It feels good to be back in the game…” At minute 1:50 after a quick catch up, Stay and Jill talk about how big Jill’s business has become, how a new baby has changed things and her plan going forward. Jills talks about what it's like taking a break, to refresh and get focused on what actually matters and what keeps her feeling purposeful. Also, as an entrepreneur what taking time off can do, how our focus can change and how we approach work.

“Nobody knew who you were…” At 5:37, Stacy asks Jill what some things are she has been doing since the beginning when nobody knew who she was, just starting out to right now when she has a following, people love her and the similarities and differences between then. Jill talks about her nonstop interviews, her short time with lack of momentum, the lessons she learned and the challenges she faced.

“It just takes a little blood sweat and tears…” At minute 9:30 Stacy and Jill dive into the three topics Jill talks about to grow your visibility. Jill talks about the opportunities for businesses to really build long term sustainable traffic that's free and it just takes hard work and hustle to get there.

“Who are you to pass up an opportunity…” At minute 16:58 Jill talks about the second way to get more visibility through promotional content and Stacy asks Jill about ways that she is really making sure how to choose what content or platform she uses and if she is starting to be more selective. How do you decide if it is worth your time? Jill talks about how the beginning may be rough, smaller audiences versus engaged audiences and how to make those connections and get yourself out there.

“When they do go to make a purchase decision, it's you they think of…” At 23:08 Stacy and Jill talk about the third piece which is community content. Jill goes deeper into community content which is engaging content that allows you to pop up in your audiences email every single week, in their social media feeds because of live streams, podcast episodes and the things that continue to engage your audience. Jill talks about what new things they are trying this year at Screw the Nine to Five to get more engaged and grow visibility and what you should document to not miss out on what your audience is saying!
