Welcome back to another episode of Foot Traffic! I'm interviewing Julia Foster who has a local brick and mortar meat department. She has been an amazing client and we are going to get into really good topics today. Julia gets vulnerable and open about her numbers being down compared to last year and we are going to talk about the importance of tracking, what numbers she should be tracking, which ones are red flags. I'm giving her actionable items that she can implement and asking some questions you might not be thinking to ask yourself. This episode is for you no matter what industry you are in!

Today I'm talking to Anna Oakes! Anna is truly a powerhouse with quite the resume...she recently did a TedX talk and we are going to dive into how that happened and what the process was like. Anna works with people to build high performing teams and we all know that you can only do so much as a solo entrepreneur and she is on a mission to maximize high performers on every team!

This is a very exciting episode because I've gathered a few of my friends to talk all things masterminds. It's the time of year when I've already started thinking about what mastermind I'm going to be in for 2020. There's something about summer that makes us feel like the year is coming to an end and I know that prepping for 2020 there is one thing that will blow up our businesses...masterminds! I am so excited to introduce you to today’s guest! Rich is the founder and president of Flight New Media, and he is an expert in all things entrepreneurship, digital marketing, social media and so much more! Rich has an annual conference called Agents of Change that he has been doing for the last 8 years in Maine, and I wanted to ask a little more about it! Because no matter what type of business you have, whether it be a local small business or an online business, I strongly believe you should be hosting in-person events. So in today’s episode you can expect to hear us talk about speakers, sponsorships and seats.

"Your competition is less likely to do it..." At minute 3:06, Rich tells us his story and his entrepreneurial journey. We're diving into in-person events and why they are so important to both online and local businesses.

"You have to think about who's going to compliment you..." At 8:58, Rich gives us insight into his strategy for choosing his speakers at events including how to choose topics.
