Welcome back to episode #276! I’m so excited for this episode because I am sharing 10 things I wish I would have known when I got started. There could have been WAY more than 10, but I really tried to give you ones you haven’t heard of before, things that could really save you from making a mistake or two that you don't need to make.

“Don’t diversify until you have mastered the first thing…” At minute 3:20 I’m diving into the 10 things I wish which is starting with focusing on one thing. I want to do everything all the time.  Sound like anyone you know? Find out what I had to learn the hard way.

“I was paying, but I wasn’t selling...” At 8:32 we all know there are levels of every contractor we hire. I’m sharing about the software and contractors we see other people using that makes us think we need it too. Hear why it is SO important to be real and connected to your people.

“I was buying online course after online course…” At minute 14:24 I was so desperately looking for a private coach or a high level mastermind, but I got it in my head that people didn’t do that anymore because they didn’t need to. I’m giving my insights into mastermind groups and why you shouldn’t rush and try to be an overnight success.

“Don’t just do all the things without a strategy...” At 21:20 I’m sharing how I wasn’t clear on my message and I definitely didn’t have a clear customer journey for my customers to take. I’m sharing why I’m in my comfort zone when I’m at home in Wisconsin but really need to stretch myself.

“I heard it over and over and over…” At minute 25:00 I’m sharing how we say we know things but if you absolutely knew how important it was, you would take action. Hear why you need to focus on profit, not gross. I’m sharing some lessons learned from people that answered a few polls inside of a few Facebook groups.

I want to keep the conversation going so find me on Instagram, @stacytuschl or head over to the free Facebook group, She’s Building Her Empire! I can’t wait to hear from you!

Welcome back to episode #275! Are you on Pinterest? And I don't mean just to pin cute outfits for your next family photo shoot or to pick your next elaborate meal, I mean are you working your business on Pinterest? Today I am so excited to actually have the pleasure of talking with Alisa Meredith, the content marketing manager of Tailwind!

“If you don’t schedule it, it doesn’t get done…” At minute 1:11 we’ve got you covered if you are wondering what Tailwind is. Alissa tells us what it’s all about and why we should care about this platform. Also, why you NEED to batch your content and get it automated.

“I cannot separate Pinterest and Tailwind...” At 4:00, Alissa shares the biggest things we need to be aware of that tailwind can help with. We talk about how to grow your reach and get your numbers up, how we can stay consistent and know what's working. Hear why board insights are Alissa’s favorite feature!

“Pinterest wants content creators to be creating new content…” At minute 8:09 we talk about how often we should be putting new things on our Pinterest boards, how often we should clean everything up and how much content we should start with. Hear why you should create multiple pins for one blog post and if board descriptions and keywords are really important.

“You need to share other people’s content…” At 17:05 Alissa explains the difference between Tailwind tribes and a group Pinterest board. We talk about why we need to be finding people your audience will love and make connections, the kind of people you should look for to connect with.

“Look forward, don't look back too much...” At minute 21:53, Alissa tells us the struggles or things she sees people doing when they first start Tailwind. What works best on Pinterest and how to stay in a positive mindset while creating your content!

Welcome back to episode #274! This time of year always feels like a version of the new year for me! Maybe it's because I am a dance studio owner and we operate on the school year schedule....OR maybe it is because as an entrepreneur now is the time to re-evaluate your goals you had set in January and gain that last push of momentum for the remaining part of the year!

With that said, on today's episode I want to share with you my 3-step framework that I use during the month of August and September to make sure I start my "new year" off right!

“It will take you as long as you allow it to take you…” At minute 3:50 I share why it’s a great time to gain that last push of momentum for the remaining part of the year. I’m sharing my 3 step framework for getting back into the swing of things starting with assessing your current situation.

“The key for me is make it a non-negotiable that you never hit the snooze button…” At 9:08 I’m telling you what my schedule is going to look like for fall and hopefully this helps you when you’re structuring your day! I’m walking you through what a normal day looks like for me from the time I wake up until I go to bed.

“These little hacks will get it done in your business…” At minute 22:07 Not only can you get set times in your calendar when you do certain appointments, take client calls, and so on but you can also have a rhythm with your days. Not only with your days but your travel schedule, what your year ahead looks like, how much personal time you need and what you really want to keep on your schedule.

“Sundays are pretty much left wide open and now we prep for the week…” At 32:43 I put together 10 tips for increasing your productivity. You NEED to hear these and find a way to start your days right to make sure they end right. These tips help you stay organized and simply make life easier especially if you have little ones at home!

As I mentioned, I created a playlist for you to start your morning or play throughout the day to keep you energized and motivated! You can find it here, shesbuildingherempire.com/playlist. Welcome back to episode #273! As many of you know I am personally involved in two very high-level masterminds that I pay to be in, and one thing I love about them is that I get exposed to some of the best content and mentors! Well, that's exactly how today's interview with John Miller came about. Everyone in my mastermind kept mentioning this book QBQ, The Question Behind The Question. I ended up connecting with John on social media and I’m so glad he is here today!

“Life just turned around because I found my passion…” At minute 2:00, John tells us about his strong mission, vision and where it all started and the moment he found his passion. John shares how to ask the question behind the question that put us on the path to personal accountability.

“We rely so much on teamwork, we’ve forgotten the power of one...“ At 6:00 there will be a lot of breakthroughs that happen and John talks about the two myths in his book surrounding accountability. What we can do as individuals to be a better coach, a better friend, to take risks or to be an accountable parent.

“I can take personal accountability and get something done that serves people...” At minute 10:53 we talk about what his book QBQ is actually solving. John and I talk about how to get things done if you are a solopreneur, how you can get employees or take risks to get where you want to be. How asking the right questions is so important to your success.

“Successful people are always aware of what they’re thinking…” At 14:57, John tells us some ideas of how to immediately make a switch and frame our questions differently. What you can do to move forward, not worry about others and change yourself first. John answers why some people, including Dave Ramsey require their team to read his book QBQ and why I’m recommending this book to you.

“An outstanding individual is aware of their actions and behaviors...” At minute 22:05 what does it take for a person or an organization to be outstanding, the discipline of leadership the ability to think and choice and be aware of what we are choosing.

If we aren’t taking a step back and looking within and really fixing or strengthening our weaknesses, we are going to run into some big problems.
