Today is Day 2 of our 5 Day Launch in 90 Days Challenge. If you missed Day 1, please go back and listen to that show. We’re going to start with some Q and A and then cover today’s topic.

Q and A:

Should you focus on growing your email list or launching first?

Part of the launch strategy is email list building. Grow your list in the pre-launch stage of your course.

Do we need to do FB ads if we haven’t launched a product yet?

Only do FB ads when you have a call to action. So if you want to give something away to build your list, that’s great.

Do you have to go into debt to launch a course?

You will either spend your time or your money your launch. So you can spend your money to save yourself time, or you can save your money and spend your time. You have to spend one or the other.

How much time will a launch take from your family?

If you designate a certain amount of hours per day to your launch, it won’t take any longer than your normal work day.

Yesterday we talked about your fears and your goals. Today is all about your “perfect person”. We want to start the process by looking at yourself first. You want to teach you, where you were 2 years ago. You need to be far enough ahead in your journey to be confident helping people who are where you were 2 years ago.

  1. What is the problem your perfect person thinks they have?
  2. If you were to take away their pain and problems, then what would their perfect world look like?
  3. How do you get them to their perfect world?

Post your homework in the FB group and share your answers with the group.

Today’s show covers Five Things to make sure you’re not avoiding if you want a business that supports your family. Your business is not just about making an impact and providing an income. We all know that it needs to support your family and life. Let’s jump into our topic together!

Show Highlights:

  • The Five Things NOT to avoid:
    • The “one to many” business model: Don’t just trade time for dollars. Know that it will probably start with one to one.
    • List building: #1—THE first step in creating the “one to many” business model! How am I growing my list TODAY?
    • The sales funnel: There is no point in list-building if your LEADS don’t lead to something!
    • Systems and automation: This will free up a lot of time, improve your professionalism, and streamline your sales. Adding multiple businesses is only possible with systems, automation, and a good team. For the type-A entrepreneur, there is nothing worse than feeling bored and unmotivated.
    • Get end results, no matter who you’re serving: Your business depends on transformational results for your clients. Focus on your customer and prepare for phenomenal testimonials and case studies.

Ready to launch your own product? Come and join the Launched in 90 challenge. I start 9/11 and it’s new and better than ever. It’s been re-vamped, so even if you joined the last one, you can benefit from this one too! I look forward to seeing what you can launch in the next 90 days!

Today we continue our August series about creating digital training products. Next week, we wrap up the series with a Live Q and A. Today we’re talking about the 5 Steps to Creating Your First or Next Digital Product.

  1. Assessing Your Expertise - most entrepreneurs have multiple areas of expertise, so it’s important to narrow down your focus to the things that people already coming to you for. This will make it easier to sell the course. You also can get feedback from others to find out what we are really good about.
  2. Market Research - check out what your competition is doing. It’s important that you know what other people are doing in their email funnels, their membership sites, etc. You want to be better, not just cheaper.
  3. Pricing and Packaging - price your product too low and people will think you aren’t at the level they need from an expert. The flip side is to price your product too high - don’t price yourself out of the market. Either end of the spectrum can be devastating to your business. Either be in the fair market value range or go with premium pricing.
  4. Beta testing - everyone should beta test before you launch to the public. You will gain so much information from the beta test and it will help you tweak your course. Then you can relaunch at a higher price point after beta testing. Do not do a beta test for free. Do not feel guilty about charging for your beta test. You don’t want opinions from people who have not paid for your product. Having them pay for beta testing makes your testers invested in your product.
  5. Get some testimonials and re-launch - make the tweaks from the beta testing results and then you can charge a higher price point. Keep a file of screenshots of any compliments you get from your users/clients.

Aug 17, 2017

Last week I was in Laguna Beach, California, with my Mastermind, where I go every ninety days. It's a really great way to refresh and recharge and it was exactly what I needed, so I'm really excited to be back today!

Today, we're talking about creating a Product Suite that will increase your customer's lifetime value. What is a Product Suite? It's that customer journey. A few years ago, before I had a digital product, I went to a Brendan Burchard Event and there they taught us to charge what you're worth and not to undervalue yourself. I totally agree, but I also think we have to be realistic here and realize that people won't just jump into a two thousand, a four thousand, or a ten thousand dollar product after they find you for the first time. It's a lot easier to convert when you have a customer journey.

Today I want to share with you something that I have done, since then. I've come out with a customer journey with a couple of things that we're going to talk about today. Listen in to find out what it's all about.

Show highlights:

“So, first of all, you have to have free content.” From minute 2:11, Stacy explains the necessity for having something completely free in your Product Suite, that would be worth paying for.

“After the free offer, a really great place to start is an Introductory Offer.” From minute 2:47, Stacy explains that an Introductory Offer could be worth anywhere between $7 and $97. It's a great way to sample your products, or what you're like to work with, before they may jump into a huge $10 000 program, or whatever you have to offer.

“After Introductory, I would head towards more of an intermediate type of offering.” From minute 3:14, Stacy explains that an intermediate type of offering would be anywhere from $197 to $997. There's a huge range, here, but your own range needs to make sense.

“After that is the Premium Offer.” From minute 3:46, Stacy explains that the Premium Offer would be anywhere from $1997 to $5000, or even $10 000.

“And then the Exclusive Offer is this high priced, high ticket offer.” From minute 3:59, Stacy explains the value of this Exclusive Offer. The price point on this could be $10 000 to $100 000.

“You want to start with the end in mind.” From minute 4:43, Stacy explains that you shouldn't start with the freebie, or it may not lead to the Introductory and then you may have just a random product that doesn't really make sense.

“I have had, in my head, my Exclusive Offer, for a long time.” From minute 5:06, Stacy explains how to create an Exclusive Offer. She's always wanted to post her own Mastermind, and so she knows that all her offers will lead in that direction. It won't be something for the masses. It will be something much smaller and more intimate, so you only want the select group that will accept your price point. You need to be thinking about where you're heading and where you'll be taking those people- and what's the biggest ticket price that you could possibly have.

“After we have that Exclusive Offer, I want to know what is your Premium Offer?” From minute 6:42, Stacy uses herself as an example, to show what you can do as a Premium Offer.

“So the Premium Offer leads very nicely into the Year Long Offer.” From minute 7:18, Stacy explains that you need to make sure that your Premium Offer leads very nicely into the Year Long Offer and that yours makes sense to do that. You want to continue that customer journey and continue increasing the lifetime value of that customer.

“Then the next point is the Intermediate Offer.” From minute 7:58, Stacy explains that for her, the Intermediate Offer is more of a DIY online course. You don't have to have three different products or digital programs. It could be three different levels, where one is a DIY, one is a Group Coaching Program and one is a smaller, intimate Mastermind and it's still one product.

“Tripwire isn't a word you would use internally.” From minute 8:59, Stacy explains about the Introductory Offer and she cautions you about using the word 'tripwire' when talking to your customers. She also explains about using the stuff that you already have, to create this.

“Let's go from free all the way up to exclusive and let's decide does this really lead from one to another.” From minute 11:40, Stacy talks about making sure that your one product leads to the next one. Does your freebie make someone want to buy your introductory offer? And does that offer make them want to work with you more? Is everything in alignment and does it feel like it should if you're on a customer journey? Think about the one person who really wants to continue to work with you. Think about how you can serve them and keep them wanting to come back.

Stacy Tuschl is a speaker, business coach, and the owner of The Academy of Performing Arts in Wisconsin. She is the author of the book “Is Your Business Worth Saving?” where she reveals proven strategies for pulling entrepreneurs out of a rut and launching them toward business success.

I'm heading out to James Wedmore's Mastermind this week, so I'm really excited, as this is always something that I really look forward to. I go on a trip like this every ninety days and it really helps me to sit back and take in the big picture. This particular Mastermind has helped me to have a truly big breakthrough and so, next week I will be talking about my own Mastermind that I will be hosting, along with a few other female entrepreneurs, next year. I will also be talking about product development, or your product suite next week and I'm really going to dive in deep, so make sure to listen in.

Today, we're talking about assessing your product and really making sure that it is something that you should be putting out there and that it really is something that people are actually going to want. Listen in, as I'm going to explain five things to you now, that you really need to know before you create your product, to make sure that you create it the right way.

Show highlights:

“So, first of all, it is stay in your lane.” From minute 2:10, Stacy explains what she means, when she talks about staying in your lane. If there's something that you're really good at, there's really no reason not to be doing it online.

“Number two- Speak to the old you.” From minute 3:31, Stacy explains that we often forget how incredibly smart we are, in what we are doing and she reminds you that you were not always that way. You also struggled to learn these tips, tools and strategies and what is very normal and natural for you right now, was not so a few years ago. You need to take a step back and break it down until it's really super, super simple. Make sure that you're not teaching over people's heads.

“Now, number three, clarify the end result.” from minute 4:42, Stacy explains that any time that you sell something, there has to be a problem- and then you have the solution for it. You need to be crystal clear about what you're actually promising to people. You need to be clear about the features and characteristics of what you're offering and what people's lives are going to feel like when they complete your program.

“Now, number four is running a Beta Test.” From minute 5:34, Stacy explains what you can do, before you actually launch to the public. You can go to people who may want to buy it at a cheaper price point, or for some other bonus perks, to help you to create your product from scratch. This will be incredibly valuable for you to get to know what you really need before you launch your product to everybody. Stacy explains that people really need to pay for these Beta Tests, otherwise they will not be fully committed- even if it's a really nominal amount.

“So number five, refine and optimize.” From minute 8:25, Stacy explains that this is really important. Entrepreneurs often get excited and just want to move on to the next thing, but refining and optimizing what you have already done will help you to get better results. If you have even just one person buy your product, you know that it will convert and you just need more visibility or eyes on your product and you can continue to scale whatever you are doing. Stick with what's already working and continue to tweak.

Go to bit.ly/aceframework to get Stacy's free Ace Framework, which is all about gathering leads on social media and turning them into customers.

[Why should we create an online course. Showcase statistics, case studies, etc -- build a case of all the whys and what people are doing - people who give public knowledge about their launch numbers, etc -- scalability, not trading your time for dollars]

Poll:

  • Appreciate the benefits as the business owner:
  • Stop trading your time for dollars.

  • Scale your business -- serve more people ----Allow others to learn at a much more affordable rate in a DIY or group setting --- my 1:1 rate right now is $2k/month not everyone can afford that but they can learn in a program like her marketing lab for a fraction of the cost and still get access to me.

  • Passive income - Make money while you sleep.

I want to share with you a quick story….

Almost 2 years ago, I kept getting asked by business owners time and time again, “How do you get so much done?” I would meet with women at a coffee shop and explain my Google calendar system, I would have women over to my home to share all of my productivity tips and quickly I realized there were so many business owners who needed to get more done, but wasn’t sure how to best maximize their time. Cue, online course! I quickly realized I needed to create a training that didn’t subject me to my time and that someone could do on their own. I knew there were more people that needed this training, and I hadn’t even begun to grow my following, so guess what I did? I reached out to someone else who had a following. We agreed to split the earnings 50/50 and we launched my first online course. Little did I know this would be the start of a great new beginning, and we brought in $11,000 our first launch.

So, if you have been saying to yourself defeating thoughts such as:

“I could never create an online course, I don’t have a following yet” or “I could never create an online course, I don’t have any expertise,” let me just silence those thoughts right now!  Creating an online course is as simple as taking a question you are asked frequently, breaking it down into a step by step solution and sharing it with others!

(And yes, this exact course I have mentioned still exists and is now the course I include as a BONUS in most of my course launches because I know it is essential to maximizing your time in both life and business).

So, by the time you have reached this point in the blog, I am sure you are ready to get at it and create your first digital product, so I don’t want to keep you any longer. If you want to learn more in-depth about digital products, don’t forget to watch the replay of my training today here.

Today, we're doing another Q&A session. The last one we did was really so good- in fact it was one of our most popular podcast episodes to date! I really love having these Q&A's! I love being able to jump right in and have you join us live and get some questions answered. We also have had some people submit their questions beforehand, just in case they can't make it live, so listen in, as we dive right in today, wrapping up our series for the month of July, which is all about working smarter, not harder.

Show highlights:

“I've just got back from an event on Monday and Tuesday and one of the things I've noticed from going to Live Events- and also posting my Live Events, is...” From minute 1:33, Stacy shares a big difference that she's noticed between herself, as a visionary, and others, when it comes to working smarter, not harder, after coming home from Live Events. This is about seeing the bigger picture, rather than the tedious little ones that tend to overwhelm you.

“I want to start a podcast, but I don't know how to manage finding the time.” From minute 2:57, Stacy answers a question about how to find more time, in an already busy schedule. Here, Stacy explains about re-purposing. She takes just one piece of content and uses it all over the place!

“I'm thinking about using Facebook notes, rather than a separate blog- what do you, or anyone else in this group, think of that?” At minute 6:30, Jessica asks a question about saving time, using Facebook notes, rather than writing a separate blog. Stacy comes up with a number of different ideas here and explains about picking your niche and attracting the type of people that you want to come to you.

“What are the best methods for managing time spent with existing clients?” At minute 8:03, Stacy talks about the fine line between engaging with your clients and giving them your attention, and when they expect too much and begin crossing your boundaries. Here she explains how to remain in charge of your boundaries, in order for you to run your business and not have it running you.

“What do you do when you realise- okay, I don't have boundaries set and I've been letting them break them?” From minute 11:30, Stacy explains what you can do, right this second, if you realise that you haven't set any boundaries with your clients and things are out of control. She explains how you can set new levels of expectation.

“When you are trying to give away these bonuses and perks and and all of this...” From minute 14:37, Stacy explains how you can throw in perks and bonuses, and still make it scalable, without giving away your time.

“I have an email provider- well the email provider could, at any moment, go bankrupt, or anything and those emails are just gone.” From minute 15:52, Stacy talks about the types of unforeseen things that people just don't think about, with the things that they do not own, like email providers. So your eggs should never all be in one basket.

“Do you think having a Facebook Group versus just having a Fan Page is important? I'm afraid that it would take up too much of my time.” From minute 12.23, Stacy answers Natasha's question and explains some confusing bits of Facebook, relating to the personal and business aspects of your profile. Linking your Personal Profile to your Business Page and your Group, on Facebook, really saves you time. You definitely do need a Fan Page- if you don't, it means that you're not running Facebook Ads and you really should be doing that, because everybody's target market is on Facebook. Again, this relates to re-purposing.

“If you can properly tag your Friends, to whatever category they should be in, it would be really great to show entrepreneurs certain things, but I don't want my sister to have to watch, or my mother-in-law to have to watch.” From minute 19:39, Stacy talks about how to properly tag on Facebook, so that only the right people see the things that you post.

“In my Group, I might be doing something a little extra, or a little bonus, but the Group is about engagement and it's where we have our big challenges.” From minute 21:48, Stacy explains how she makes great use of her Facebook Group for her big challenges. She has one coming up in September and she points out the massive changes that you will see, in the Group, when the challenge happens. It goes to literally hundreds of posts per day!

“I really think that you need to be having all three of them- and that sounds so overwhelming, but, when you use a scheduling tool...” From minute 22:15, Stacy explains that by using a Scheduling Tool to create automated posts, you really can use a Fan Page, a Group and a Business Page on Facebook, without becoming overwhelmed. Stacy uses Meet Edgar.

“We've had Brand Ambassadors, so people that I'm coaching in my Profit Mastermind, my Profit Mastermind members have stepped up to the plate and have been the Brand Ambassador for the week.” From minute 23:01, Stacy explains how the members of her Profit Mastermind have really stepped up and become her Brand Ambassadors for the week. She's fully utilising these leaders and showing their capabilities out there, and it's also a test run for them, so this is another way that Stacy is working smarter, not harder.

“Where do I need to look to get a phone number on Google?” From minute 24:10, Stacy answers Amanda's question and explains that by going to Google Voice, you can get a free Google Phone Number in there. Stacy explains the benefits of having this option and also why she really loves having Google Voice.

“It's always, always in the preparation and not in the performance.” At minute 27:17, Stacy explains why you really need to focus on being prepared.

“ August is going to be all about Product Development.” From minute 27:55, Stacy talks about what's coming up in August. The focus will be on creating a better product for your customer.

“Heading into September, we are launching a challenge and we will be relaunching another round of Profit mastermind.” At minute 28:36, Stacy talks about what you can expect to be coming up, in September.

Jul 20, 2017

Today is an extra special day, because we are live, in my home, with eight other women! They are here for the Profit Mastermind Retreat. The Profit Mastermind is a ninety-day program that I launched back in May. Some of the women in it upgraded to a special retreat- and they're here, so I'm super excited! A few of them are going to pop in today, to say 'hello' and talk a bit about how they're working smarter, not harder. Listen in to find out about how they're doing that.

I'm really grateful to be having this retreat in my home. Remember though, that these people were already enrolled in a program and I've known them for a few months now. Neither my husband nor I would allow just anybody into our home.  What's really cool about having them come here is this sense of connection, on a different level to the online portion of the Mastermind. I almost regretted doing it here, because I had to get my house ready- it's a bit like having a party, so everything had to be a bit cleaner than normal. But, now that it's here, I'm really glad, because I did not have to travel out on Tuesday, and then back again on Friday- and I get to sleep in my own bed!

Even though we're just barely into the retreat, it was really great to start developing deeper relationships with everyone, through hearing all of them share their unique stories last night. This morning, we've just kicked off and I'm truly loving doing this from my house, so this might really be something that I will do again, in the future. Listen in as I introduce you to the ladies. I really think you will love hearing what they're doing and how they're doing it. Remember that next week we will have a Q&A about anything you want to hear about working smarter, not harder.

Some highlights are:

“So, first off, I am a twin Momma Bear, to four-year-olds, and my day job is as an emergency trained Veterinarian.” From minute 3:52 Amber talks about herself, her life and how she's working smarter, not harder, to help other moms to live their most optimum life, focusing on brain and gut connections. Her website is amberlangleygill.com

“I'm a Speech Language Pathologist and I'm kinda just down the road from Stacy.” From minute 7:21, Jann talks about what she does and how she's working smarter, not harder. She's always looking ahead with her business practice, however, she's realized, through this Mastermind, that the time frame that she's looking ahead with isn't quite as big a picture as it should be. Her website is speechworksllc.com.

“So, I'm Julie Ruley and I'm a single mom of four amazing children.” From minute 9:09  Julie, from Mom On A Mission, talks about herself, her kids, her website, how she became a Mom On A Mission and how she's working smarter, not harder to get everything done through enlisting her kids. She really wants to empower other women to follow their dreams and turn their goals into a purpose. Her website is momsonamissionclub.com.

“Well, I'm a big advocate in productivity.” From minute 13:10, Cheryl talks about what she's doing and how she's working smarter, not harder. Cheryl became aware of how many women, herself included, were trapped in a career that they didn't love any more, so she launched Elite Women In Business, to help them to get off the corporate treadmill, seize their passion and go out and create their own businesses. Cheryl had a real Bucket List Moment when she was invited by John Lee Dumas, to be a guest on EOFire Podcast. It is recorded two months in advance, so in those two months, she really wanted to leverage the exposure and get some long term benefits from that amazing opportunity. The funny thing is that the show aired on July the 4th, when Cheryl and her family were away on vacation, with no internet connection, so she only got to hear the show an almost week after it aired! She did, however, make sure, prior to leaving for her vacation, that she automated ads to run to the link to that podcast. She also had a blog post prepared to go out and she'd pre-scheduled all her Facebook posts, to give the links to the show notes. Due to having taken the time to pre-plan all of that, she came home to a really huge number of new hot contacts. Her website is elitewomeninbusiness.com.

There will be another Profit Mastermind in September, again with the optional upgrade to a Retreat. To get onto the waiting list, go to bit.ly/launchedin90.

Do you feel guilty when you want to do something fun, when you know you should be back in the office, doing something else? Well, today we're talking about why you need to be thinking about growing your team and developing leaders within, even if you are a solo entrepreneur. We're still working through the Work Smarter And Not Harder series, for the month of July, so listen in to find out more.

I know that all of that can really be scary. You're possibly thinking that you're not yet ready to hire or to take that to the next level, so if you are new, no matter how big or small your business is, I guarantee that this topic will benefit everybody watching! There are probably a lot of things on your to-do list that you really could delegate, but the question is: “Who do you give this to?”. I really love the quote “ You can do anything, but you can't do everything”. I think this is something we should tell ourselves every single day. In one of my businesses, I have a large team of almost forty employees. I was, however, a solo entrepreneur for the first three years of my business and it's really important that you know that, because you don't just start with forty employees- that would be a disaster.  I really do remember how exhausted and overwhelmed I was, as a solopreneur, though! I remember so many things that I guilt-tripped myself into, thinking that if I stop working, then nobody is working on my business!

Then came a point where I realized that I would actually rather have more freedom, than the money aspect of my business. I was so burned out that I decided that I really wanted to buy back some of my time. I wanted to have someone working with me so that I could delegate to them, knowing that somebody was working on my business and my business was still moving forward, while I was out with my kids. That is really an incredible and irreplaceable feeling! Listen in to find out how you can get there, with your business.

Some highlights include:

“Sometimes... we have to possibly pay an employee or a contractor before we pay ourselves in our business.” From minute 4:22, Stacy talks about the priorities in your business and how to justify paying someone on your team, when you're not getting paid. This is where you really have to see the future and focus on your mindset and know that this is only temporary.

“It's no different than thinking you're investing in somebody like that then maybe investing in somebody that is your personal assistant.” From minute 5:46, Stacy explains that investing in assistant is actually an investment, similar to hiring a Facebook Ads Strategist, or a Copywriter when you're not yet making money in your business.

“If you don't have an assistant, you are the assistant.” At minute 6:04, Stacy gives you a good phrase, that she really wants you to be thinking about. You really could be working on much higher paying jobs.

“When you hire a coach, they're going to help you build strategies that help you make money.” At minute 6:53, Stacy reminds you of the real value in hiring a coach- and it's the same thing when you're talking about any of these types of people.

“Which tasks are you doing right now, in your business, that you are currently paying yourself way too little?” At minute 7:19, Stacy gives you something important to consider, about your business. These are the things that you really should not be doing in your business, that you could be outsourcing.

“Don't forget about personal things like house cleaning- whatever else is holding you back from doing work.” From minute 9:09, Stacy talks about more things that are taking up your time, that could be outsourced to someone else, for way less money than you would be earning if you were working on your business.

“Ask yourself: 'Is this moving my business forward, or is this something that I could outsource for a much cheaper rate than what I should be doing- I should be bringing in?'” At minute 10:19, Stacy gives you a really important question that you need to ask yourself when doing something that could possibly be done by someone else.

“The people that you bring in to help you, can be so much more than just a contractor or just an employee.” From minute 10:58, Stacy explains how the people that you bring in to help you really can be a part of your business and how you can help them to feel that way, by helping them to see the vision and the end results.

“If you're a control freak and you're thinking 'I could never take this off my plate.'” From minute 12:32, Stacy gives you some advice about how to give up control. There are some things that people on your team really can do better than you can.

“I do want to tell you though when it comes to money, you don't have to hire somebody for full time.” From minute 15:35, Stacy gives some ways to hire someone without having to spend too much money.

“You have to keep paying them, but they're not doing anything because you don't have your act together to give them opportunities or things to work on.” From minute 16:14, Stacy talks about why you really need to have systems in place and that it can be very inexpensive to hire someone if you hire them very part time.

“I want you to be thinking about a list of three.” From minute 18:05, Stacy gives you a list of three things that you can start working on immediately, today: 1)What should you be doing? 2) What should be deleted off of your to-do list? 3) What can you delegate?

“Your delegate list becomes this great area for you to go and say really 'here's a job description'.” From minute 19:52, Stacy explains how your delegate list can be used as a great job description, for the types of jobs you need to delegate when you're looking for somebody to help you.

“You want to make sure that you hire somebody, you really are hiring them knowing, okay I can afford this.” From minute 20:38, Stacy talks about hiring the right people, people who will be great in their departments.

Remember: You really can do anything- you just have to stop doing everything!

Jun 23, 2017

In today’s episode, we are wrapping up the series on Facebook Messenger Marketing by talking about 5 things not to do on Messenger. Facebook Messenger has open rates as high as 90%, which is great by any standard but especially compared to email marketing.

We’ve already talked about what Facebook Messenger Bots are and some free ways to use the Facebook messenger bots, as well as how to scale what you are doing with some paid strategies. So today, we’re steering you around some of the pitfalls of Facebook Messenger.

  1. Don’t set up your first Messenger Bot and then not engage. You don’t just want to accumulate a bunch of names on your Messenger list, and then never send them anything or engage with them. The idea isn’t to have the biggest list, but the most engaged list.
  2. You don’t want your messages to feel like a Bot. Make sure people know how they can get engagement from you when the bot isn’t meeting their needs. You can’t do “set it and forget it” automation on this. You need to manage it.

  1. Don’t mess up the first sentence. Your first sentence needs to be intriguing enough to get someone to open it. My best opener has been. “Hey XXX, I know you mentioned you want to get updates on this..” My lowest open rate (80%) was “Hey XXX, just a friendly reminder that….”. Make sure you are intriguing enough for them to open the message.

  1. Don’t put someone on your list and bombard them with messages. There is a balance between too little and too much.

  1. Don’t treat Messenger like email. It’s not email. Most people are looking at messenger on their phone. Keep it short and sweet! Emoji’s in the text help break the text up and are more desirable.

  1. BONUS - Don’t send them a promotional link and broadcast it to everyone. Get them to click below or comment below to get more information. Facebook needs to see that there has been engagement in the last 24 hours before you send them a link.

Facebook Messenger Marketing will work if you do it properly. So, don’t be afraid to get started and have real conversations with your audience.

You can learn how to do this on your own, and figure it out. Or you can outsource it to someone and it may cost over $1000/month on a retainer basis. Or you can jump on my Bot Basics training next week. It’s only $97! You’ll have your first bot set up by the end of the training and I’ll be personally checking out the funnels and testing everything myself!

No matter what option you choose, you need to get started asap!

Also, you may have heard about Her Marketing Lab and they are following along with all of my experiments with marketing. The bonuses alone are worth the price of the program! There’s so much in this program, and you can get all the details at bit.ly/hermarketinglab

We're still in the middle of talking about Facebook Messenger Bots. On Monday (Episode 187) Stacy explained about what a Messenger Bot is and also, why you should care. It's really almost like an email auto-responder- like an actual sequence that you can set up and have activated. She points out that eighty to ninety percent of people are opening up your Facebook Messenger Bots, so that's why you definitely want to be thinking about it. Listen in now, to find out more.

Today, we're talking about two ways to do Messenger Bots and then, on Friday, we'll do five things that you really should not do with Messenger Bots, unless you want people unsubscribing! Listen in and find out how Facebook Messenger Bots will help you to transform your business!

Some highlights include:

“So we're talking about free ways to do it and paid ways to do it.” From minute 1:53, Stacy talks about both free and paid ways to do Facebook Messenger Bots.

“I want you to be testing with the free stuff before we even try to dive into the paid stuff.” From minute 2:26, Stacy encourages you to try the free stuff first.

“The biggest thing you need to know with Bots is....” From minute 4:08, Stacy explains how you can engage with people with Messenger Bots in a way that will have them engage back.

“It's really really important that we are having people self-select where they should go and what they want to hear from us.” From minute 6:44, Stacy talks about ways that you can let people select what they want to hear from you so that you can really dial into them.

“People can realize when you immediately respond, that it's probably a Bot.” From minute 8:34, Stacy talks about letting people know when they're dealing with a Bot and when they're actually communicating with you because people get excited when they know that it really is you answering their questions!

“There are so many options here to be growing your social media following, your Facebook Groups, your list, whatever it is.” At minute 9:51, Stacy talks about the benefit of Bots for growing your contacts on social media.

“What is one of your biggest priorities right now?” From minute 10:06, Stacy talks about priorities and where you need the most growth- then converting that to sales.

“Remember Facebook is always their first priority- is always always the user experience.” From minute 11.35, Stacy explains a rule that you have to know when working with Facebook Messenger.

“You've got to make yourself think 'what can I give them to make them want to click?'”. From minute 13:50, Stacy talks about thinking of ways to make people want to engage with you.

“So what I mean by 'paid' Facebook Messenger...” From minute 16:00, Stacy talks about paid Facebook Messenger Ads and how you can use them to re-target people.

“Well, now people are doing this just to grow their Messenger List, right.” From minute 18:48, Stacy talks about things that people are doing to grow their Facebook Messenger Lists.

“For those of you that want to dive in deep and actually create your first Bot, next week, Tuesday, we're going to be doing a Live Training.” From minute 22:45, Stacy talks about the Live Training that she's giving on Tuesday, next week, where you will actually build your Bot and get it set up and running.

“Here's a couple of things that I really think is going to be great for the future.” From minute 9:36, Stacy talks about some of the really positive things that she sees coming in the future, with Bots.

“I don't think email marketing is going away, I just think that this is another thing that's coming in.” From minute 11:16, Stacy shares what she thinks about where Bots are going in the next few months, with marketing.

“Don't ever put all of your eggs in one basket.” At minute 12:35, Stacy cautions you about what could happen if you put all your eggs into one basket.

“I've really now put a lot of time and energy and even bought a course to really educate myself on how to do this.” From minute 14:31, Stacy explains how much effort and energy she's put into getting to really understand Messenger Bots because it's really expensive to outsource.

“I want you to sign up for this program called Many Chat.” From minute 16:44, Stacy talks about Many Chat (manychat.com ), the program she uses to do all of her Messenger Bots, for only $10 per month.

How often have you had somebody wanting to pick your brains about some aspect of a business that you really know about? Listen in as Stacy explains how you can make this happen.

Today, still in the series of Course Creation, Stacy talks about why it's a really great idea for you to have an online course. Whether or not you have an audience or a list yet, Stacy dives into how you can actually make this happen, when it makes the best sense for you to do this and she gives you three reasons why you really should do this right now and not later.

Today, after wrapping up the Challenge and Launch with her Profit Mastermind, Stacy wants to dive into all the lessons she learned from that because she really thinks that there are a number of those things that she can share with you. Listen in to find out what Stacy has to share.

Firstly, Stacy learned from going through the launch, that the topic is a much-needed one. She points out that all of this is truly market research for her, because every time someone reacts to the course or says something about it, it helps her to build an even bigger and better program for the next time! She mentions that although there is this phenomenal group of women in her Profit Mastermind, a lot of the people who wanted to get into the Mastermind just didn't quite feel ready. Their number one objection was that they do not yet have a course. Their big question was: “How can I actually launch if I don't have a course?”, so they naturally felt like it wasn't the right time. Listen in now, as Stacy shares her ten steps to successfully pre-selling your launch.

Some highlights include:

“I would say 90% of the women in the group are creating brand new programs.” At minute 2:44, Stacy talks about women creating something new, that they are launching.

“I believe that you truly can be doing this and launching in ninety days, whether or not you have this course created.” At minute 3:00, Stacy explains what she believes about launching in ninety days.

“The most crucial step out of any of them is Market Research.” From minute 3:30, Stacy explains the importance of doing Market Research.

“I love doing SWOT analysis.” From minute 4:45 Stacy talks about the value in doing a Competitor Analysis to stand out from your competitors.

“How to swim through this just like a sea of ideas?” From minute 6:36, Stacy explains about content overload.

“How to pre-sell your course to not just validate your idea.” From minute 7:30, Stacy talks about building hype about your launch while pre-selling it.

“How to leverage the pre-sell to create this focused course content...” From minute 8:36, Stacy talks about leveraging the pre-sell and getting people to pay for it.

“How to ensure that your course will provide the transformation you envisioned. To offer” From minute 9:22, Stacy talks about how to actually make your envisioned course happen.

“How to best cater to the learning styles that make the experience what it is.” From minute 10:24, Stacy talks about catering to the many different learning styles out there.

“How to set clear expectation and boundaries for your course so you don't end up feeling overwhelmed.” From minute 12:22, Stacy talks about setting boundaries and creating the right expectations.

“How to help your clients track their own transformation, without you getting emotionally attached to the outcome.” From minute 14:10, Stacy explains about emotional attachment and also tools, systems, and processes.

“We are going to be doing a ninety-minute Live Workshop...” From minute 16:56, Stacy talks about her Live Workshop, coming up on the 14th of June.

While being an entrepreneur you can let your imagination run as wild as you want, but when it comes to launching…there’s no place for assumptions.
However, that’s the mistake 90% of the entrepreneurs make, which leads only to sheer disappointment, fatigue, and failure.
Stepping out of your comfort zone and cultivating growth mindset is crucial to the success of your launch (and your business). However, you cannot expect to hit your goals just by visualizing and meditating about it.
Today is Day 5 of the “Launched in 90 Days” Challenge, now so far we have talked about everything from your launch vision and mindset to finding your perfect person and launching your offer like a pro (by choosing one of the proven launch models).
Today I want you to take a step back from planning your launch and see what costly mistakes other entrepreneurs are making + how these mistakes are affecting their launches (in a bad way).

  1. UNREALISTIC SALES PROJECTIONS – Unrealistic Goals = Setting yourself up for failure. Launching your offer to a list of 100 and expecting to make $100K is wishful thinking that only leads you to an abyss of disappointment.I am in no way saying that it’s not possible to have a profitable launch with a small list, but it’s important to have enough quality leads to convert at a good percentage.
  2. THE 6-FIGURE ILLUSION – The online 6-figure launch race is contagious and so many good and hard-working entrepreneurs fall prey to it even before they take off. You’ve got to learn to walk before you can run and then fly.To make 100K in 90-Days is not mission impossible but it shouldn’t be your only mission. You may need to have smaller launches to boost your Know, Like & Trust Factor and build up towards a mega-launch.
  3. OVERCONFIDENCE – Being confident in your abilities is one thing, but neglecting super important aspects of your launch is simply overconfidence. You can’t expect to be a know-it-all, do-it-all kind of person and have a lucrative launch.Get out of your head and go out there to really listen to your dream clients and their needs so buying your offer becomes a no-brainer when you share it with them. Also, look for a support system that’s there for you every step of the way (from pre-launch to post-launch) to keep you from falling off the wagon or feeling uninspired.

DAY FIVE ASSIGNMENT:

  1. What are you going to do to avoid these costly launch mistakes?
  2. Would you be willing to invest your time and money in a system that will help you avoid all of these mistakes with a step-by-step launch process?
  3. What’s the importance of having sheer accountability for YOU during your launch?

ACTION STEPS:

  1. Answer the questions above.
  2. Share your answers in the FB group with the hashtag #Launchedin90 #Day5 to be entered for a chance to win our contest. (Grand prize valued at $997)
  3. Tune in at Noon CST to watch the LIVE class in She’s Building Her Empire Community  with an amazing challenge wrap up party (we’re talking challenge winners, raffle and something spectacular that’s coming your way!)

“Stacy, I simply want to package up my expertise in a course or program and launch it, so people can benefit from it. Why is it so hard to do that?”
This is what I get asked ALL the time. Being a passionate, high-performing and committed woman entrepreneur, you are not shy of putting in the work or showing up in your business.

You’re not even scared of learning new things and trying something different.
But it all has to make sense, doesn’t it?
I mean you can’t keep jumping from one plan to the next, following 100 different “Signature” systems (as every expert has got one)…leaving you more confused than ever before.
You hear them say…
Webinars are the fastest track to build rapport and sell your product…
And then you read that webinars are dead. Because apparently, Master-class is the new “webinar.”
But then challenges are the easiest way to launch your product…
So what about the video-series or Bootcamp style launches?
So many options. So many expert opinions. So many unanswered questions.
This is the reason so many of you just sweep the thought of launching your own info-product under the rug, as not everyone has the luxury to spend tons of time, money and energy only to see little to NO results.
So today, let me share with you 4 simple launch models.

  1. Challenge Launch – Create a 5-Day challenge (just like this one), spend 2-3 weeks on promotion and then tie in a sales sequence to pitch your offer in the end.
  2. Webinar Launch – Promote for 2-3 weeks, go live with your webinar and pitch your offer live and then have a sales sequence in place to pitch your offer to the people who subscribed (Whether they attended the webinar or not).
  3. Video Series / Bootcamp – Break down your topic in 3-5 videos and build anticipation as you release them once every few days with the last one being a pitch to your offer and then follow up with a sales sequence.
  4. Facebook Live – The easiest way, start with daily Facebook lives to build authority and then pitch your offer directly, boost your viewership through ads.

How do you choose one for YOUR launch?
Well, here’s a rough criteria.

  1. How much authority do you have within your niche right now?
  2. What’s the urgency of your offer?
  3. How much time can you devote to this launch?
  4. What does your audience prefer based on their lifestyle, free-time, and personal choices?

DAY FOUR ASSIGNMENT:
Which launch style are you going to choose for this launch?

ACTION STEPS:

  1. Answer the questions above.
  2. Share your answers in the FB group with the hashtag #Launchedin90 #Day4 to be entered for a chance to win our contest. (Grand prize valued at $997)
  3. Tune in at Noon CST to watch the LIVE class in She’s Building Her Empire Community .

Remember! There’s NO one way of doing things.
There’s only YOUR way.
So pick the launch model that best suits your and your ideal clients’ lifestyle and preferences.

The E-learning industry is expanding by the day. There’s no denying that.
But only a handful of entrepreneurs launch and market their product, course or program the right way.
Now that’s shocking, isn’t it?
But why is that so?
Why create something only to let it collect dust on your digital shelf?
Why not shout at the top of your lungs telling the world that your course or program exists?
“Because it doesn’t solve a specific problem.” That’s why.
When your course or program (even if it’s just an idea for now) doesn’t present a unique solution to an existing problem, it does more damage to your time, energy and money than you can think of.
You put in so much hard work and tons of time to create something… in hopes that it will fly…only to realize later on nobody wants it.
And where does this all lead?
   Low self-esteem
   Self-doubts and Remorse
   No cash in the bank
DESPITE having a product, you feel ashamed to share it with your audience, and even if you share it, you don’t feel as confident as you should.
Why?
Because you know that it probably isn’t what your ideal clients truly need.
So today, we are going to get this piece of the puzzle right.

It all starts with your perfect person. The ONE person who’s looking to get help from you.
You can’t go into course creation or launch mode without getting crystal clear about that ONE person. You need to know this person from the inside out – their likes, dislikes, what excites them the most and what keeps them up at night.
Unless you know who that person is and how you can help them, there’s no point in launching.
Note, that this person must be somewhere around you. You just need to talk to them specifically (instead of generalizing your message).

DAY THREE ASSIGNMENT:
  1. What is the problem that your perfect person thinks they have? And, what do you think is the actual reason behind their problem?
  2. Hypothetically, if you were to take away all of their pains and problems, what would their life look like an in a problem-free world?
  3. Keeping in view your knowledge and expertise, what solution would you present to your perfect person that will ease their pain and solve their problem?

ACTION STEPS:
  1. Answer the questions above.
  2. Share your answers in the FB group with the hashtag #Launchedin90 #Day3 to be entered for a chance to win our contest. (Grand prize valued at $997)
  3. Tune in at Noon CST to watch the LIVE class in She’s Building Her Empire Community.

Remember, niching down or honing in on your target audience doesn’t mean that you’re missing out on a larger set of people. It just means that you are focusing on the RIGHT set of people (no matter how small or huge it may be), one who’s not there to get entertained, but to BUY from you as they need you right at this moment.
